Become a Member of RMGCSA
Welcome to membership in RMGCSA. As a member, you are part of one of the largest and strongest chapters in the GCSAA. As you read on, you will find some pertinent information to help you to become an active member. We're excited to get to know you!
The RMGCSA holds numerous educational meetings throughout the year at golf courses and other meeting sites. These programs are designed to further your knowledge of course management, operations and emerging industry trends. You'll find these events an excellent time to network with your peers. This is an added member benefit as you expand your network and knowledge as a superintendent by sharing and gaining knowledge with fellow members.
Event dates vary throughout the year depending on the availability of host golf courses. During the golfing season, our educational meetings include golf at the host course with lunch provided. It is our policy and the policy of the golf courses we play, that "spikeless" shoes will be worn. With tournament golf being played, you will need a GHIN number to be eligible for prizes. We provide other educational opportunities during the winter.
The Reporter, the Association newsletter, is emailed the first of each month, with the exception of October through April for a total of eight issues. You'll find interesting articles, features and current news in our newsletter to further help you in your position and management of your facility. You'll find back issues her on the website for your reference.
We are pleased that you have chosen to be a member of the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association, which was founded in 1936. We hope that you will share your knowledge and experiences and you will be an active member of this prestigious group, which has a long history of professionalism and camaraderie.
