"USGA Tournament Preparation"
Please join Fred Dickman, CGCS and Michael Sartori as they share the many experiences in the preparation and execution of hosting a championship on The BroAdmoor's East Course. After the completion of the 2008 Senior Open and the anticipation of the 2011 Women's Open, Fred and Michael will share details of what is required to prepare a 92-year old golf course for professional players, hospitality venues to support over 100,000 spectators, and a world-wide media coverage.
Fred Dickman, CGCS, Director Golf Maintenance
Fred Dickman joined The BroAdmoor in June 1997, as Director of Golf Course Maintenance. Mr. Dickman has over twenty years experience in golf course maintenance, construction, and renovation. Mr. Dickman has been a CGCS since 1996 and an active member of the GCSAA and RMGCSA. He is an Audubon International Colorado State Steward. Mr. Dickman's tournament experience includes the 2008 U.S. Senior Open and 1998 PGA Cup matches held at The BroAdmoor, Shell's Wonderful World of Golf at Querencia Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and multiple PGA Senior Tour Championship's at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City, OK.
Michael Sartori, BroAdmoor Superintendent, East Course
Michael is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He received his degree in Turf Management, from Ohio State University, ATI Campus while working at the New Albany Links Country Club. Michael began his career at The BroAdmoor six years ago as an intern, after completing college he returned to The BroAdmoor and has held positions such as Irrigation Technician, Assistant Superintendent and his current position, East Course Superintendent. Michael has had the privilege to be a part of a number of USGA qualifiers, the recent 2008 U.S. Senior Open and looks forward to working on the 2011 Women's Open.

| You will need to make your reservations by Sept. 15, 2010. No exceptions. No walk-ins permitted. Because of golf course policies there will be no "after the deadline" reservations accommodated. A wait list will be in place for those that wish to play but missed the deadline. We will call you to confirm that you have made the tournament once we are notified of a cancellation. Slots made available by cancellation will be filled only from the wait list on a first-come, first-served basis. No Refunds after September 15th. |
