Assistant Superintendents not only play a vital role in the day-to-day operations on the golf course, they help promote and ensure future success for the turfgrass management profession. Through active involvement, as well as relationship building with others in the industry, many of today’s young turf professionals are proving that the Assistant Superintendent position is as dynamic as ever before. This presentation is intended to demonstrate why engagement is so valuable as well as outline specific ways in which assistants can get more involved and connected as they navigate their career path.
