Chosen for its tranquility and natural splendor, the original Bear Dance site was transformed into one of Colorado’s premiere golf destinations. Designed and built by PGA Members Corey Aurand, Stuart Bruening, Dennis Hogan, and Brian Whitcomb, and home to the Colorado Section of the Professional Golfer’s Association of America, Bear Dance provides a true Colorado golf experience. Consistently rated as Colorado’s best, and most challenging public golf course, Bear Dance offers generous tree-lined fairways framed by flashing white sand bunkers, striking water features, and intricate greens. Enjoy being surrounded by the mountainous beauty of Ponderosa pine, oak-lined ridges and draws, and native grass valleys. Enjoy a golf course with dramatic elevation changes and stunning Rocky Mountain views just minutes from downtown Denver and Colorado Springs. Enjoy a chance encounter with native wildlife never more than a tee shot away. The Memorial tournament benefits the Golf Foundation of Colorado. The tournament is open to anyone interested in supporting the game of golf in Colorado. The format will be a two person alternate shot. A portion of all entry fees will be a direct contribution to the Golf Foundation of Colorado. Prizes will be awarded in each flight based on the size of the final field.
