This is classic and quintessential Rocky Mountain golf at its best. Grand Lake’s beautifully maintained course designed by Dick Phelps with rolling fairways and subtle greens surrounded by lodge pole pines, aspens and colorful native flora, offers a world class setting with panoramic views of snowcapped mountains and Rocky Mountain National Park. Education: Approved for .10 Education
For our education seminar we will be discussing management of ponds.  The majority of the course will be about weed and algae control methods as well as plant identification.  The management techniques we will discuss range from chemical application, bacterial applications, physical removal and aeration.  We also plan to discuss what effects the weeds and algae will have on the pond if left untreated.  For the chemical and bacterial applications we will discuss what chemicals are needed after the plants are identified as well as amounts needed based on pond sizes and growth rates.

Presenter(s): Underwater Recovery Specialists Inc. has been in business since 1977.  Brad Matoush and Travis Matoush are the owners and have been chemical applicators or worked with chemical applicators since the late 80’s.  They currently routinely manage over 50 properties including golf courses, HOA’s, irrigation ditches and Park and Rec ponds.  In addition to the weed and algae management in ponds they also have been working with growth regulators (chemical mowing) around ponds, roads, cart paths, irrigation ditches and golf course roughs.

*You will need to make your reservation by August 6, 2018. No exceptions. No walk-ins permitted. Because of golf course policies there will be no “after the deadline” reservations accommodated. A wait list will be in place for those that wish to play but missed the deadline. We will call you to confirm that you have made the tournament once we are notified of a cancellation. Slots made available by cancellation will be filled only from the wait list on a first-come, first-served basis.*
